WAMS Technical Resource (Remote)

Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)

We are seeking an experienced WAMS Technical Resource to support a large utility client on enhancements, maintenance, and backend data operations within an Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (WAM/WAMS) environment. This role is ideal for a strong backend developer with expertise in SQL, Unix/Linux, Shell scripting, ETL, and Oracle Cloud integrations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities WAM/WAMS (preferably v1.9x)
• Strong SQL development experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, and data extraction
• Experience with ETL workflows and backend data integration
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux, Shell scripting, and SFTP
• Experience supporting or migrating file-based integrations to Oracle Cloud Object Storage
• Strong understanding of relational databases and enterprise data models
• Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database (ADB) is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Utility or Asset Management industry experience
• Experience with cloud migration initiatives
• Experience working in regulated utility environments
• Background in large-scale backend automation and data pipeline development

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Oracle Utilities WAMS backend processes
• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, scripts, and ETL workflows
• Build and maintain Shell/Unix automation scripts
• Design and support secure data integrations using SFTP and Oracle Cloud Object Storage
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions
• Support integration testing, UAT, and production deployments
• Document technical solutions and backend processes
