PM Training Leader Oracle ERP/EPM implementation experience


Really looking for an experienced trainer who can work Hybrid in Des Moines, IA

Qualifications:

Required:

Experience leading end user training and Train-the-trainer programs for large Oracle ERP/EPM system implementations from design through hypercare

Ability to work successfully with many highly technical subject matter experts to develop and update training materials and course content

Able to join mid-project and build on an established training approach

Able to work as a collaborative member of a Change Management Team to prepare impacted end users to adopt new processes and systems

Proficient with Microsoft tools, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint

Preferred:

Experience using E-learning platforms and development tools like Articulate Rise, Camtasia, and Vyond

Experience with training course and material platforms (knowledge bases, SharePoint document libraries, Learning Management Systems, etc.)

Responsibilities:

Pre-go-live (August-December)

Coordinate end user training delivery for implementation

Confirm audience and learning needs and fill remaining gaps (develop the remaining 20% of materials using existing templates and tools)

Maintain the training approach, standards, decision rights, priorities, and quality expectations across ERP and EPM content.

Determine number of course sessions needed based on audience size and develop end user training schedule

Collaborate with administrative support and technical experts to coordinate training logistics (scheduling, access, environments, virtual session technology needs, and staged data availability).

Update existing job aids, instructor-led training course materials, and videos based on additional feedback from subject matter experts and User Testing participants

Coordinate reviews, approvals, and version control of training materials.

Manage the content backlog, assign work, sequence development, monitor capacity, and escalate risks or dependencies.

Ensure materials are accurate, consistent, audience-appropriate, usable, and aligned with approved processes and templates.

Determine appropriate storage repositories for different types of training materials. Ensure instructor-led courses and self-directed videos are loaded to PFG s Learning Management System for enrollment and participation tracking (in collaboration with Learning & Development)

Collaborate with Principal Learning & Development on uploading courses to the Learning Management System, managing enrollment, and monitoring participant attendance and completion of training courses.

Coordinate availability of job aids for navigation and end user feedback during User Acceptance Testing (August-September).

Measure training effectiveness (in collaboration with Change Lead) and adjust approach and materials

Support testing and implementation of AI Agent for end user personalized training recommendations (in collaboration with Change Lead).

Collaborate with Communications Lead on Training-related communications.

Prepare and lead the train-the-trainer program

Coordinate content for and facilitate trainer activities (orientation, content walkthroughs, practice sessions, and readiness validation)

Collaborate with Principal Learning & Development to deliver a customized train-the-trainer session (in September)

Gather trainer feedback and direct necessary updates

Plan post-go-live support activities (including trainer involvement)

Support trainers throughout end user training (Oct-Nov)

Post-go-live (January-May 2027)

Update materials based on hypercare findings and end user experience and oversee any support roles that help make updates.

Maintain source files, version history, and final published content

Address priority knowledge gaps identified through trainer and user feedback and incorporate approved process and system corrections through first quarter 2027

Collaborate with Communications Lead on Training-related communications

Support trainers in post-go-live interactions with end users and help coordinate: office hours, panel discussions, and re training if needed (January-April 2027).

Transition materials and ownership to the steady-state team
