Chief Physician (m/f/d) Orthopedics | Neustadt in Holstein, Germany | On-site
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Chief Physician to lead a leading center for endoprosthetics. This role offers the unique opportunity to combine cutting-edge surgical medicine with modern leadership in a picturesque coastal location. The Role
• Assume overall responsibility for the direction and continuous development of the Orthopedics Clinic, with a focus on hip and knee endoprosthetics.
• Independently perform complex endoprosthetic surgeries, utilizing state-of-the-art surgical techniques and innovative technologies.
• Provide expert, supportive leadership to the experienced medical team, fostering their professional growth and collaborating closely with adjacent departments.
• Ensure excellent medical care at the highest professional level, driving continuous quality development.
• Strategically advance the endoprosthetic service spectrum and actively manage quality and certification processes.
• Represent the clinic internally and externally, cultivating networks and contributing to the strategic development of the site.
What You'll Need
• Board certification as a specialist in Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery with a sub-specialty in Special Orthopedic Surgery.
• Proven extensive surgical expertise in knee and hip endoprosthetics with a high case volume.
• Several years of leadership experience in a responsible position, ideally as a senior physician or chief physician in endoprosthetics.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams with appreciation and expertise.
• A commitment to quality and economic efficiency, balancing medical excellence with operational effectiveness.
• A passion for innovation, modern medicine, and strategic departmental development.
