Field Application Engineer

We are seeking a field application engineer in Leetsdale, PA Duties and Responsibilities -May spend the majority of their working hours outside of the office traveling from location to location, including cross-country.

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment or systems according to specifications and safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose technical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and team members to ensure satisfaction.
• Provide production support in assembly and routine testing of the products used in field applications.
• Assist the Product Division and Sales Department by solving field problems, clarifying customer requirements and technical product support.
• Other duties as assigned Qualifications -Minimum of Bachelor"s Degree in Engineering is required; BSME, BSIE, or BSEE is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in field service, maintenance, or equipment installation is required. Hydraulic systems experience is preferred.
• Familiarity and experience with hand and power tools is required. A minimum of two (2) years" experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
• Knowledge of fluid power is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience as a Field Application Engineer or in a similar technical role is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical systems is required.
