Senior AI Software Architect / Lead AI Platform Engineer

Role Summary
A highly skilled Senior AI Software Architect is sought to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI platforms and intelligent systems. This leadership role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise and strategic architectural guidance to create scalable, enterprise-grade solutions. The position involves building innovative AI-enabled applications, integrating with data ecosystems, and providing technical direction across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-scale AI platforms from initial conception through full-stack implementation.
• Architect and implement AI and machine learning solutions, including AI agent-based applications.
• Lead software architecture efforts across low-level system design, APIs, and application development.
• Integrate AI platforms with enterprise data ecosystems such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• Develop scalable frameworks, services, and APIs to support diverse AI workloads.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural oversight to engineering teams.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and formulate strategies for integration and adoption.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to operationalize and deploy AI solutions in production.
• Engage in hands-on coding, architecture reviews, and solving complex technical challenges.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and scalability requirements for enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software architecture and software development at a senior engineer, technical lead, or architect level.
• Proven experience designing and building large-scale, scalable software platforms.
• Strong software engineering background with hands-on coding expertise.
• Practical experience with AI, machine learning, or agentic AI development.
• Experience integrating applications with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Demonstrated capability of delivering complex technical solutions from architecture to implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative AI-driven applications.
• Proven leadership experience in guiding engineering teams and driving technical strategy.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Publishing Pay Range: $75.00 - $85.00 USD Hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from any approved location within the United States.
