Golang Developer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend/Golang Developer to join our engineering team in Fremont, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience building scalable backend systems using Golang, with expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services that power mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Golang.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs, microservices, and gRPC services.
• Develop highly available and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Design and implement event-driven solutions using messaging platforms such as Kafka.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Work with databases including MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and frontend teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and production support.
• Follow engineering best practices for CI/CD, security, and software quality.

Required Technical Skills

• 3 5 years of backend development experience.
• Strong programming experience in Golang.
• Experience developing distributed systems and scalable backend services.
• Hands-on experience building REST APIs and Microservices.
• Good understanding of Event-Driven Architecture.
• Experience with Kafka for messaging and asynchronous communication.
• Strong knowledge of Redis for caching and data storage.
• Experience working with:
• MySQL
• MongoDB
• Familiarity with gRPC.
• Experience with ASP.NET-based environments or integrating with .NET applications.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, concurrency, and performance optimization.
