Location: NYC, NY (Remote)

we were looking for a more hands-on person with strong in-depth knowledge on Scala and more database knowledge

Key Qualifications:

·        Proficiency in Scala

·        Moderate Java Experience is required

·        Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Teradata, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

·        Expertise in ETL pipeline development and data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift)

·        Familiarity with cloud infrastructure Azure

·        Experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, Databricks, and Airflow

·        Strong experience in Scala & Apache Spark (Spark Core, Spark SQL, DataFrames, RDDs)

·        Proficiency in Python for data processing, scripting, and automation

·        Strong ETL, Data Warehousing, and Data Modeling experience

·        Performance tuning, partitioning, and optimization of Spark applications

·        Experience with structured and unstructured data processing

·        Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, HBase

·        AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

·        Spark Streaming / Structured Streaming

·        Data Governance, Security & Compliance

·        Exposure to Machine Learning workflows
