We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer / Quality Engineer with strong expertise in Web, Mobile, API, and Backend Automation Testing.

Job Title: Testing Automation

Position Type: Long Term Contract

Location: New York

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile applications

Create and execute automated test scripts using Mabl Selenium and Appium

Perform functional regression integration and end to end testing

Develop and execute API test cases using Postman REST Assured or equivalent tools

Validate backend data using SQL queries

Participate in sprint planning backlog grooming daily stand-ups and release activities

Analyze automation failures identify root causes and drive resolution with development teams

Collaborate with developers product owners business analysts and client stakeholders

Contribute to test strategy test planning and continuous improvement initiatives

Demonstrate ownership of assigned deliverables and proactively drive quality improvements

Required Skills

Automation Testing, Mabl Selenium WebDriver, Appium Android iOS, Java based automation frameworks

Data Driven and Hybrid Frameworks

API Backend Testing

REST API Testing, Postman REST Assured, JSONXML Validation, SQL and Database Validation, Agile

Agile Scrum methodology, Defect tracking using JIRA or similar tools

Soft Skills

Strong communication skills

Ownership and accountability

Client interaction experience

Leadership and mentoring capability

Ability to work independently and drive testing activities end to end

Preferred Skills

Insurance domain experience

Mobile testing across real devices emulators and simulators

Performance testing exposure JMeter Load Runner

Accessibility testing knowledge

Experience supporting enterprise digital transformation programs

Experience

8 years of Quality Engineering Automation Testing experience

Minimum 4 years of hands on Selenium automation experience

Minimum 2 years of Appium Mobile Automation experience

Strong API and SQL testing skills

Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks
