Wesley College is seeking an experienced and customer-focusedSystems Support Officer to play a key role in the delivery of ITsupport services across the College.

Reporting to the Director of Information and LearningTechnologies (ILT), this position combines hands-on technicalsupport, endpoint administration and service desk coordination. Therole also provides day-to-day leadership and support to a team ofICT Support Officers, ensuring high-quality service delivery tostaff, students and parents.

About You

You will be a technically capable and service-orientedprofessional with experience supporting and administering modernMicrosoft environments. You will have strong troubleshootingskills, enjoy working with people, and be comfortable balancingoperational responsibilities with technical project work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the College IT HelpDesk.
  • Provide Level 1 and 2 technical support across a diversetechnology environment.
  • Manage Microsoft Intune endpoint administration, securityand compliance.
  • Design and implement device management, applicationdeployment and configuration solutions.
  • Oversee device lifecycle management, including annual staffand student device renewals.
  • Manage endpoint patching, upgrades, reporting andmonitoring.
  • Support cyber security initiatives and endpoint protectionmeasures.
  • Coordinate support requests and provide guidance to ICTSupport Officers.
  • Maintain system documentation and contribute to continuousimprovement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendorsto deliver reliable technology services.

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate thefollowing:

  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, andadministering Microsoft Intune solutions within a complextechnology environment.
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint management, device security,compliance management using Intune and WDAC (ApplicationControl for Business).
  • Understanding of the importance of cyber securityframeworks such as Essential 8.
  • Experience with Azure AD and other Microsoft 365services.
  • Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, prioritise and managecompeting tasks and support requests in a timely manner.
  • Proven ability to work independently and exerciseinitiative while supporting users across a campus environmentfor extended periods of time.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and adapt tonew concepts in a rapidly changing technologicalenvironment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 operatingsystems and end-user device management.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft and Adobeapplications.
  • Experience with scripting and automation technologies,particularly PowerShell.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or industrycertifications.
