Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, automate, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and platform environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure administration, containerization, Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

The Cloud Platform Engineer will work closely with development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to build reliable, secure, and highly automated cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and administer cloud infrastructure and platform environments.
• Manage and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Administer and maintain managed Kubernetes platforms such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and/or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and Azure DevOps.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational processes.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot platform issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with application development teams to support application deployments and improve deployment automation.
• Implement best practices for cloud security, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Participate in platform upgrades, migrations, disaster recovery, and infrastructure optimization initiatives.
• Troubleshoot issues across cloud infrastructure, containers, Kubernetes, networking, and CI/CD environments.
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, infrastructure configurations, and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure administration, engineering, and automation.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• 3+ years of experience with managed Kubernetes platforms such as AKS and/or EKS.
• 3+ years of experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Strong scripting and automation experience using Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, networking, compute, storage, and security.
• Experience troubleshooting production cloud and containerized environments.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, automation, deployment strategies, and version control.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes networking, ingress, secrets, RBAC, deployments, services, and troubleshooting.
• Experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions for cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Knowledge of cloud security and IAM best practices.
• Experience with Git-based source control and branching strategies.
• Relevant cloud or Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
