Challenger Limited seeks a Partnerships Manager in its Retirement Distribution division, based in Sydney, NSW, with a hybrid work arrangement. The role involves leading a portfolio of strategic partnerships, engaging with financial advice platforms, superannuation funds, and institutional clients to drive market presence and growth.
Responsibilities- Support and coordinate account plans and relationship management across key retail platforms and institutional partners.
- Identify opportunities to grow and strengthen relationships with superannuation funds and insurers.
- Coordinate sponsorship opportunities with partners and licensees, ensuring activities align with strategic priorities.
- Support Challenger's visibility within licencee adviser networks through workshops and education on lifetime income frameworks.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, engaging in conversations to understand client priorities and support tailored solutions.
- Provide market insight on trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and distribution teams to support integrated, coordinated client outcomes.
- Strong relationship management experience and confidence engaging at an institutional level.
- Track record in business development or stakeholder engagement, ideally in relationship driven environments.
- Excellent negotiation skills with proven partnership growth outcomes.
- Consultative approach, understanding needs and shaping solutions.
- Outstanding communication skills, written and verbal, with presentation experience.
- Strategic thinking, reading market and translating insights into action.
- Strong organisational skills, juggling multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Desirable: experience with financial advice platforms, superannuation funds, or insurers.
- Familiarity with retirement income solutions and Australian investment landscape.
