Remote Video Storyteller for Global Impact
Quick Overview
Job Description
Role Title: Digital Storyteller
Location: Remote (Australia wide)
Commitment: Part-Time (Approx. 5 hours per week)
At GAiN, we believe that every act of humanitarian aid, every drop of clean water, and every disaster response effort has a story worth telling. We are looking for a creative visionary who can bridge the gap between our life-changing field work and the digital communities ready to support it. You understand that a well-crafted narrative doesn't just inform, it moves people to action.
ABOUT THE ROLEAs our Digital Storyteller, you will be the voice and lens of our mission. You will transform raw footage, project reports, and powerful testimonies into immersive video narratives that educate and inspire. By standardising our visual storytelling and managing our digital archives, you will ensure our message of hope reaches further than ever before, mobilising a new generation of global citizens to support our humanitarian impact.
If you have a passion for visual storytelling, a heart for humanitarian aid, and the skills to bring these stories to life, we would love to connect.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING- Plan, film, and edit high-impact, short-form, and long-form video content tailored for digital platforms.
- Repurpose raw field footage and internal media assets into cohesive, compelling stories that drive awareness and funding.
- Stay ahead of digital video trends and collaborate with the Communications Lead to align visual content with active campaigns.
- Manage and organise our digital media library, ensuring that every story we share promotes the dignity and resilience of those we serve.
- Experienced in video editing and storytelling, with an eye for high-quality, impactful visual content.
- A strategic thinker able to bring clarity and structure to storytelling workflows while staying aligned with broader communication goals.
- Led by a deep relationship with God, characterised by compassion, humility, and a heart for justice.
- Deeply committed to the dignity of all people and passionate about mobilising others to join our humanitarian mission.
- Your creativity directly enables the communication of critical aid, water projects, and disaster relief.
- Gain experience in non-profit communication strategy and humanitarian storytelling.
- Join a team that values unity, faith, and the power of shared testimony to change lives.
- Contribute through a remote, volunteer commitment of approximately 5 hours per week.
- Receive comprehensive orientation on our brand voice, digital ethics, and ongoing strategic support.
If you're ready to use your creative skills to advocate for global change and amplify the voices of those we serve, we would love to hear from you.
We are committed to building diverse teams and welcome applicants from all backgrounds who align with our mission and values.
