Job Description

Role Summary
This role involves supporting procurement processes within a dynamic energy organization, focusing on building and maintaining internal and external relationships to ensure the availability of critical spares, materials, and services. The position requires applying fundamental judgment to source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and service providers, contributing to asset reliability and cost efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Operations, Category Management, Inventory Management, and technical teams to identify, source, and maintain critical spare parts and materials.
  • Establish and manage inventory min/max levels, implement supplier stocking, blanket pricing, and multi-year agreements to support asset reliability.
  • Lead sourcing and commercial strategy development for service vendors through cross-functional partnership and market analysis.
  • Develop and execute RFQs/RFPs, evaluate proposals, negotiate terms, and recommend awards aligned with operational needs and market conditions.
  • Administer and enforce compliance with Technical Service Agreements (TSAs) by partnering with stakeholders to monitor contractual obligations and vendor performance.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and operational readiness activities, securing necessary service vendors and materials proactively.
  • Manage requisition workflows, issue purchase orders, and oversee order fulfillment while adhering to procurement policies.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to track order status and resolve procurement issues promptly.
  • Ensure procurement activities support operational efficiency, cost control, and risk mitigation.
  • Provide continuous support to ensure timely sourcing, delivery, and compliance with contractual and operational requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related field, preferably within energy or industrial sectors.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract administration skills.
  • Ability to analyze market conditions and develop sourcing strategies.
  • Proven experience with RFQ/RFP processes and supplier evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of technical service agreements and compliance monitoring.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  • Availability to perform on-site work as required.
  • Working rights to be employed in the designated location.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Publishing Pay Range: $20.00 - $30.00 hourly

This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
