Kubernetes Storage DevOps Engineer (Portworx)

Everpure, Inc. (Everpure Data) is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer focused on Portworx to help clients run stateful workloads reliably on Kubernetes. In this client-facing role, you'll design and implement Portworx-based storage architectures across AWS, Azure, or GCP, enabling backup, DR, and high availability for critical data services. You'll work side by side with client teams, troubleshooting complex distributed systems, automating deployments with IaC and CI/CD, and integrating Portworx into broader data and analytics platforms. Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Portworx-based Kubernetes storage solutions for client environments
• Work directly with client engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable architectures
• Implement data services including backup, DR, migration, and high availability for containerized workloads
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance using infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot complex distributed systems issues across Kubernetes, storage, and cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with Everpure data engineers and architects to integrate Portworx with broader data platforms
• Create technical documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams for client solutions
• Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and resilience testing for stateful workloads
• Support client teams with knowledge transfer, training, and best practices on Portworx and Kubernetes
• Contribute feedback to improve Everpure's delivery frameworks, tooling, and reusable solution assets
