Role Overview
We are seeking a high-impact Senior Electrical Facilities Engineer to serve as a technical authority for a cutting-edge advanced manufacturing facility. In this role, you will act as the engineering lead and advocate for the electrical scope during the sophisticated equipment installation phase (Tool Install). You will provide critical design oversight for final hookups-including power distribution, grounding, and low-voltage communications-ensuring that all installations in this high-tech environment meet world-class engineering standards. This is a "contract-to-hire" opportunity for a forward-thinking engineer who excels at bridging the gap between design specifications and field execution.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Oversight: Provide engineering and design leadership during the installation of complex, high-precision manufacturing equipment.
Design Advocacy: Review and influence electrical designs related to final power distribution, grounding systems, and low-voltage communication connections.
Specification Management: Develop and vet technical specifications for tool installations, ensuring all vendor submittals and design deliverables comply with client requirements and applicable codes.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs and installations adhere to NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with multidisciplinary teams-including construction, facilities, and external vendors-to ensure seamless project execution.
Submittal Review: Evaluate technical submittals against contractual requirements, identifying and resolving engineering discrepancies before they impact the field.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
Professional Experience:
oMinimum of 5 years in the engineering design of building electrical systems.
oProven track record of selecting and specifying large-scale electrical equipment.
oExperience reviewing vendor submittals in an industrial or high-tech setting.
Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in NFPA 70 (NEC) and IEEE standards.
Logistics:
oTravel: Ability to work onsite approximately 50% during the first month, followed by one week onsite per month thereafter.
oPhysical: Mobility to navigate active construction environments, including walking long distances and climbing ladders.
Clearance: Must pass a thorough background check and drug screening.

Preferred Credentials
EIT Certification or Professional Engineer (PE) License.
2+ years of experience specifically within semiconductor manufacturing or cleanroom environments (Tool Install experience is highly valued).
Field experience coordinating directly with subcontractors and construction personnel.
Proficiency with BIM/CAD tools, specifically Revit or AutoCAD.
