Architect - MS Dynamics migration

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solution Architect to lead large-scale enterprise CRM transformation initiatives involving migration from Salesforce CRM to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE).

This is a strategic, client-facing role requiring expertise in CRM modernization, solution architecture, enterprise integrations, cloud technologies, and large-scale migration programs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of reverse engineering complex Salesforce environments and designing scalable, cloud-native Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions that align with business objectives.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, project managers, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality CRM transformation programs for Fortune 500 clients.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

• Lead the architecture and design of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions.
• Define end-to-end CRM transformation roadmaps from Salesforce to Dynamics 365.
• Conduct architecture assessments, design workshops, and technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Create solution blueprints, reference architectures, technical specifications, and migration strategies.
• Recommend modernization opportunities rather than executing a like-for-like migration.
• Establish architecture governance and ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices.

Salesforce Reverse Engineering & Assessment

• Analyze existing Salesforce implementations to understand business processes, application architecture, data models, integrations, security, and customizations.
• Assess Apex Classes, Triggers, Lightning Components, Visualforce Pages, Flows, Process Builders, Validation Rules, Workflow Rules, Reports, Dashboards, and Custom Objects.
• Identify technical debt, unused customizations, and optimization opportunities.
• Produce comprehensive assessment reports, migration plans, and effort estimates.

CRM Migration & Modernization

• Lead end-to-end Salesforce to Microsoft Dynamics 365 migration programs.
• Define migration strategies for configuration, customization, integrations, security, and data.
• Map Salesforce objects, relationships, business processes, and security models to Microsoft Dataverse.
• Design scalable migration approaches with minimal business disruption.
• Develop cutover plans, rollback strategies, and post-production support models.

Required Qualifications

• 10–15 years of CRM implementation experience.
• 7+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) experience.
• Proven experience leading multiple Salesforce-to-Dynamics 365 migration programs.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Dataverse architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service.
• Deep knowledge of Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Strong development experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, Plugins, and Custom Workflow Activities.
• Experience with Azure Integration Services and enterprise API integrations.
• Expertise in CRM security architecture, business units, teams, and security roles.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and cloud architecture.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading distributed technical teams.

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
• Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform Developer certification
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, or Generative AI technologies.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing, or Energy industries.
