Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud AMS Consultant with strong functional expertise in Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM), with a primary focus on Project Foundations, Project Costing, and Project Billing. The consultant will provide post-implementation application management services, including production support, issue resolution, configuration changes, minor enhancements, testing, and business user advisory.

The role requires close collaboration with business, finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure the stable, efficient, and compliant operation of Oracle Cloud PPM processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide AMS support for Oracle Cloud PPM, with primary focus on:
    • Project Foundations
    • Project Costing
    • Project Billing
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, defects, and user-reported incidents within agreed SLA timelines.
  • Provide functional and configuration support for:
    • Project setup and project templates
    • Task structures and project hierarchies
    • Expenditure types
    • Burden schedules
    • Cost allocation
    • Billing controls
  • Support end-to-end project transaction processing, including cost collection, accounting validation, invoice generation, revenue recognition, and billing issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Oracle ERP Cloud teams, particularly General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Procurement, to investigate and resolve upstream and downstream issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and recommend sustainable corrective actions.
  • Support quarterly Oracle Cloud release activities, including impact assessment, regression testing, and business validation.
  • Prepare functional specifications for minor enhancements and coordinate with technical teams on reports, conversions, integrations, extensions, and related solutions.
  • Provide business users with process clarification, functional guidance, training, and Oracle best-practice recommendations.
  • Maintain functional documentation, configuration workbooks, knowledge articles, support procedures, and ticket updates.
  • Participate in incident reviews, service improvement initiatives, governance meetings, and other AMS activities.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong hands-on functional experience with Oracle Cloud PPM.
  • In-depth knowledge of Project Foundations, Project Costing, and Project Billing.
  • Experience in Oracle Cloud AMS / production support environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Good understanding of integration points between PPM and other Oracle Cloud ERP modules.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud quarterly releases, regression testing, and functional validation.
  • Ability to work effectively with business users, finance teams, IT teams, and technical development teams.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
