Top Requirements

5+ years of Power BI development experience

3+ years of Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery experience

Advanced DAX, Power Query, SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT skills

Experience building executive dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions

Ability to design scalable ingestion pipelines and analytical data solutions

Job Summary

In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Systems Architecture. The Senior Power BI & Google Cloud Platform Data Analytics Consultant will design and deliver scalable reporting, data-engineering, process-intelligence, and Human-in-the-Loop analytics solutions.

This role focuses on converting complex enterprise data into actionable insights through executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, automated Google Cloud Platform data pipelines, and Statistical Process Control reporting. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, product owners, process-intelligence teams, enterprise architects, and senior leaders to improve transparency, operational performance, process control, and decision-making.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Power BI Development

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards and scorecards
• Build executive, operational, and strategic reporting solutions
• Develop complex:
  • Data Models
  • Semantic Layers
  • DAX Measures
  • Calculations
  • Power Query Transformations
• Create interactive visualizations for trends, risks, performance, exceptions, and opportunities
• Optimize dashboard performance, refresh schedules, and overall user experience
• Establish reporting standards, documentation, and governance practices

Google Cloud Platform Data Engineering

• Design and optimize data-ingestion pipelines on Google Cloud Platform
• Develop ETL and ELT processes from:
  • Enterprise Applications
  • APIs
  • Operational Systems
  • Third-Party Sources
• Use BigQuery and cloud-native services for scalable analytics
• Build automated ingestion and monitoring capabilities
• Perform data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and quality checks
• Optimize storage and processing architectures for scalability and performance
• Align solutions with enterprise architecture and platform standards

KPI Frameworks and Performance Analytics

• Partner with business teams to define and operationalize KPI frameworks
• Create executive scorecards and operational-performance reports
• Establish metric definitions, thresholds, targets, and governance processes
• Develop leading and lagging indicators for:
  • Productivity
  • Quality
  • Throughput
  • Cycle Time
  • SLA Performance
  • Exception Rates
  • Process Efficiency

• Prepare monthly and quarterly business-performance reporting packages

Statistical Process Control and HITL Analytics

• Build SPC reporting for Human-in-the-Loop and operational process programs
• Develop visualizations and monitoring for:
  • X-Bar Charts
  • Moving Range Charts
  • P-Charts
  • C-Charts
  • U-Charts
  • Control Limits
  • Process Capability
  • Trend Analysis
  • Outlier Detection
  • Variance Analysis
• Monitor process stability and identify common- and special-cause variation
• Establish automated alerts and threshold monitoring
• Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement
• Partner with process owners and control teams to evaluate operational health and control effectiveness

Advanced Analytics and Insights

• Perform trend analysis, forecasting, statistical analysis, and operational assessments
• Identify emerging risks, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities
• Develop executive narratives and data-driven recommendations
• Support automation, observability, AI, and process-intelligence initiatives
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and delivery discussions
