Partnerships Manager
Quick Overview
Job Description
This is a 10-month maternity leave contract based at Youi's Sunshine Coast headquarters.
You'll love this role if you enjoy being the person who turns partnership rights into meaningful brand experiences. This role suits someone who likes balancing strategy, relationship management and delivery, while working closely with sporting organisations, agencies and internal teams.
You'll spend your days planning activations, writing briefs, negotiating opportunities, analysing results and keeping multiple stakeholders aligned. Some weeks are spent mapping out future seasons and partnership plans. Others involve events, game days and bringing campaigns to life. The pace can vary, and occasional work outside standard business hours is part of delivering successful sports and event partnerships.
You'll be supported by an experienced leadership team and work alongside specialists across brand, media, PR, community, digital and creative. This is a 10-month maternity leave contract, making it ideal for someone looking to build their portfolio with some of Australia's leading sporting partnerships, take on a high-profile challenge, or gain experience within an award-winning marketing team before their next career move.
This role is for somebody that wants to spend the next 10 months leading high-profile partnerships from strategy through to execution, working with major sporting organisations and building deeper expertise in sponsorships, events and brand partnerships. It will suit someone who values the experience, exposure and impact of the work more than the permanence of the contract.
What you'll be doing- Develop and deliver partnership plans for major sporting and brand partnerships, ensuring they align with business and marketing objectives.
- Build strong relationships with rights holders, agency partners and internal stakeholders to keep programs moving and maximise value.
- Write partnership and activation briefs for media, creative, PR and digital teams.
- Lead partnership negotiations, renewals and commercial evaluations of new opportunities.
- Manage the delivery of campaigns, activations and events, including occasional work outside standard business hours.
- Track results, analyse performance data and provide recommendations to improve future partnership outcomes.
- You've led partnership, sponsorship, brand or event programs rather than only supporting delivery.
- You can bring different groups together, build alignment and keep complex projects moving forward.
- You write clear strategic briefs that give teams direction and help deliver stronger outcomes.
- You're comfortable negotiating with partners and identifying opportunities to create additional value.
- You can interpret performance data and turn insights into practical recommendations. Experience in partnerships, sponsorships, events or marketing is preferred at commencement, while deeper knowledge of Youi's partnership portfolio can be learned.
