Job Description

Job Title: Information Security Analysts
Location: Round Rock, TX

Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Information Security Analysts to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Develop, update, and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs), security control documentation, privacy assessments, and ATO packages using NIST SP 800-53 and RMF requirements.
  2. Conduct security control assessments, gap analyses, and vulnerability reviews while translating findings into risk ratings, POA&Ms, and remediation plans.
  3. Support compliance for cloud environments including Azure Government and AWS GovCloud and maintain audit-ready documentation and evidence repositories.
  4. Collaborate with system owners, ISSOs, auditors, development, IT, and project teams to gather system information, document findings, support remediation, and communicate compliance requirements.

    Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

5+ years of experience in cybersecurity compliance, security assessments, vulnerability management, NIST/RMF, SSP development, and government or regulated environments.

Technical Skills

NIST SP 800-53, NIST RMF, System Security Plans (SSP), Security Control Assessments, Vulnerability/Patch Management, Cloud Security, ATO Documentation, POA&M Management

Business / Domain Skills

Cybersecurity Compliance, State Government Systems, Risk Management, Privacy & Data Protection, Security Auditing, Regulatory Compliance

Communication

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

Documentation

Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with FedRAMP, StateRAMP, CJIS, Azure Government, AWS GovCloud, and government security compliance environments.
  2. Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus, Qualys, Tenable, or Veracode and documentation collaboration tools such as GitHub.
  3. Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted tools and mentoring junior cybersecurity compliance professionals.
