Job Description

Sunnyside Vines is a New York wine importer and distributor built from relationships that began years before there was a company.

What started with shared meals, bottles, business conversations and visits between families in New York and Spain has grown into a portfolio made with multigenerational winemaking families.

Our opening collection is rooted in Ribera del Duero DO, with Tempranillo ranging from approachable restaurant and retail wines to mature bottlings with real age and character. We are also bringing in Campo de Borja DO organic, biodynamic and lower-intervention wines, with additional whites and sparkling wines planned for later this year.

Our opening shipment is in New York and available for buyer tastings and placements.

We have target accounts, existing industry relationships, early placements already underway and founders actively working alongside the sales team to open doors.

We have raised the capital and are investing in tastings, marketing, sponsorships and continued portfolio growth.

We are now looking for several wine professionals who want to help us build the market in New York.

You may already have a book of business and want to add a complementary Spanish portfolio. You may come from restaurants, fine-wine retail, importing or distribution and be ready to develop new accounts.

What matters most is wine knowledge, credibility with buyers, strong follow-through and the ability to build relationships.

The Work

Depending on your experience and interests, the work may include:

Introducing the portfolio to restaurants, wine bars and retailers.
Developing existing relationships and opening new accounts.
Conducting buyer tastings, staff education and portfolio presentations.
Supporting targeted business development, events and sponsorships.
Sharing market feedback that helps shape the portfolio.
You should be comfortable presenting wine professionally and using Coravin during buyer tastings. WSET, CMS and other wine education are valued, but market knowledge and the ability to sell matter more than certification alone.

Ways to Work With Us

We are open to different arrangements based on the person and the work, including:

Commission on new and recurring sales.
Account-opening and reorder bonuses.
Flexible territories and schedules.
Part-time or expanded opportunities as the portfolio grows.
A draw against future commissions for the right person.

We provide samples, portfolio education, sales materials and direct founder support.

Our operations team handles order processing, delivery coordination and the administrative work behind the sale so representatives can stay focused on buyers, placements and account growth.

Let's Talk and Taste

Send us a short introduction, your resume or online profile, and about your experience in wine.
Tell us what neighborhoods, buyers or types of accounts you know, whether you currently represent other products and what interests you about the opportunity.
Then let's meet, taste through the portfolio and talk about what working together could look like.
