Job Description

Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Investment Platforms
Fulltime - with Infinite Computer Solutions

Location: New York, NY / Miami, FL / Dallas, TX / Rockville, MD (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise data platforms supporting investment management functions across Private Credit, Structured Credit, Private Equity, and Insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain data warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data integrations.
  • Develop scalable solutions using Snowflake, Python, SQL, dbt, and Azure.
  • Integrate data from APIs, SharePoint, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and other third-party platforms.
  • Build reporting and semantic data models for Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or Sigma.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and operational stability.
  • Automate workflows and support AI/LLM-enabled data initiatives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Data Engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in Python, SQL, Snowflake, dbt, ETL/ELT, and Azure.
  • Experience with REST APIs and enterprise data integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with data warehousing and BI/reporting tools.
  • Background in Asset Management, Private Credit, Private Equity, Capital Markets, or Financial Services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Databricks, Azure Functions, API Management, or Entra ID.
  • Knowledge of LLMs, RAG, or AI/ML in data engineering.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, PitchBook, Preqin, or other market data platforms.
  • Experience with portfolio management or investment accounting systems.
