Description
TEKsystems is looking for a Tenured ServiceNow Developer to support a critical ServiceNow transformation initiative focused on establishing a robust CMDB foundation and enabling Security Operations (SecOps) capabilities. This is a hands-on technical role ideal for a developer who thrives in complex enterprise environments and enjoys building scalable, integrated ServiceNow solutions.
Must Have - Need Secret Level Clearance
Key Responsibilities
CMDB Foundation (Primary Focus)
Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery, including MID Servers, credentials, and discovery schedules.
Support the design and implementation of CI class hierarchies, Identification & Reconciliation (IRE) rules, and data certification processes.
Build CMDB health dashboards to monitor data quality, completeness, and compliance.
Assist with service mapping and dependency mapping between business services and supporting infrastructure.
Analyze existing data sources, asset repositories, and infrastructure topology.
Security Operations Enablement
Support the implementation and configuration of ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) capabilities, including Vulnerability Response and Incident Response.
Develop integrations between ServiceNow and third-party security tools such as vulnerability scanners and SIEM platforms.
Configure automated routing, assignment groups, and security incident SLA tracking.
Validate CMDB data readiness to support security workflows and operational processes.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Flow Designer.
Proven experience configuring MID Servers and developing REST/SOAP integrations.
Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, Discovery, and Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE) rules.
Experience building dashboards, workflows, and automated solutions within ServiceNow.
Familiarity with ServiceNow Security Operations data structures and processes.
Strong troubleshooting, testing, and problem-solving skills.
