Our business scope covers CMP, photomask, wafer and mask inspection, consumable spare parts, SOI wafer, LCD process and inspection equipment and materials; outsourcing service in tool manufacturing; clean room and MEP turnkey projects, DI water, gas and chemical supply systems, water treatment systems, facility monitoring and control system, etc.
Job Overview:
The Safety Lead supports site safety execution for MICU’s semiconductor construction project. This role focuses on field safety, contractor compliance, OSHA requirements, hazard identification, incident prevention, and maintaining a strong safety culture on site.
General Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
- Support JHA/JSA, safety orientations, permits, toolbox talks, and contractor safety requirements.
- Monitor OSHA compliance and safe work practices across construction activities.
- Identify unsafe conditions, track corrective actions, and support incident investigations.
- Provide field safety coaching to employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Support safety controls related to electrical work, confined spaces, chemicals, gases, heavy equipment, and cleanroom activities.
- Maintain safety records, reports, training documentation, and corrective-action logs.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of construction or industrial EHS/safety experience required.
- Semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, chemical/process, or large construction project experience preferred.
- OSHA 500 required.
- OSHA 10-Hour and OSHA 30-Hour Construction training required.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards, JHA/JSA, contractor safety, and incident investigation.
- OSHA 510, CHST, CSP, HAZWOPER, or other relevant safety certifications preferred.
- Ability to support overtime, weekend work, or shift coverage when required.
Skills:
- Strong field presence and hazard recognition.
- Strong communication and safety coaching skills.
- Ability to work effectively with contractors, supervisors, and project teams.
- Strong documentation and corrective-action follow-through.
