Duration: Contract to hire, 6+ months

Pay Range: $60-$68/hr (W2)

Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer (Core Java) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Core Java, Agile delivery, CI/CD, TDD, and cloud-aware development and a proven ability to design, build, test, deploy, and maintain resilient and secure applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software using Core Java.


• Apply multiple design techniques to build scalable and resilient services.


• Contribute within Agile frameworks and participate in ceremonies and backlog refinement.


• Implement and support Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Core Java and one or more general-purpose programming languages.


• Working proficiency with the Java toolset for building, testing, and deploying applications.


• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practical delivery experience.


• Knowledge of CI/CD, Test-Driven Development, cloud development concepts, application resiliency, and security.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience across software engineering disciplines including analysis, development, testing, and operations.


• Background with cloud-enabled architectures and automated testing practices.
