Description:
We are seeking two high-performing Transport Engineers to join our team in driving high-yield network modernization and facility consolidation initiatives. In this role, you will act as a key engineering resource supporting critical Data Center projects, collaborating cross-functionally with Transport Implementation Planning, Regional PMs, Network Operations, and various internal stakeholders. Your primary focus will be executing core Transport Engineering functions-specifically utilizing ISPEC-to navigate complex technical challenges, streamline circuit migrations, and accelerate the comprehensive decommissioning of targeted facilities to meet aggressive lease-exit deadlines. This is a high-visibility, impact-driven role directly responsible for delivering substantial, multi-million dollar OpEx savings for 2026 and beyond.

Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Engineering: Execute end-to-end Transport Engineering functions, including the generation and management of ISPECs to support network re-routing and equipment decommissioning.
- Facility Decommissioning: Proactively manage site exit timelines, resolving technical and circuit-level bottlenecks to ensure full, on-time technical and physical facility shutdowns.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Planning, Project Management, and Field Operations to align engineering deliverables with overarching corporate milestone dates.
- Financial Impact: Directly support and accelerate strategic network optimization projects designed to capture significant run-rate cost savings for the enterprise.
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
- Transport Network Engineering & Circuit Design (ISPEC): Proficiency in core transport engineering functions with hands-on experience generating and managing ISPECs. Candidates must possess a deep technical understanding of network topology, circuit paths, and grooming strategies to safely reroute traffic without impacting active services.
- Decommissioning & Facility Exit Management: Demonstrated experience navigating the end-to-end lifecycle of technical site shutdowns, legacy equipment decommissioning, and cage exits. This includes the ability to aggressively manage strict lease-exit deadlines, resolve complex network dependencies, and clear stranded capacity.
- Cross-Functional Project Coordination: Strong collaborative and communication skills to effectively align with Transport Planning, Regional PMs, and Network Operations. Candidates must be able to drive accountability across multiple internal departments to keep massive cost-saving initiatives on schedule.
