Mainframe Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Smithfield, RI that is seeking a Mainframe Engineer.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 8+ years of mainframe software development experience using Cobol, DB2, JCL, VSAM
* Knowledge of SQL, File-aid, Eztrieve and SPUFI is preferred
* Knowledge of Snaplogic, Snowflake and AWS is a plus
* Exposure to Distributed Technology like JAVA, Angular, Python is an added advantage
* Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner
* Ability to quickly learn, adapt and strive to meet the needs of a fast paced, changing environment
* Ability to navigate organizationally to accomplish tasks
* Ability to work on multiple efforts simultaneously
* Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Quick learner and willing to adapt and learn new technologies
* Phenomenal attitude, teammate and effective contributor
* Dedication to quality and high standards

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
