Hiring: Lead Benefits Analyst | 12+ months Contract-To-Hire | Alpharetta, GA / Open for 100% Remote

Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Benefits Analyst for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for a benefits professional with strong expertise in health & welfare, retirement plans, benefits compliance, vendor management, data analysis, and large-scale benefits initiatives.

Location: Alpharetta, GA
Worksite: Alpharetta, GA 30004
Work Arrangement: Remote or near a client location
Bill Rate: $45–$65/hr on 1099/C2C
Employment Type: 12+ months Contract-To-Hire

Key Responsibilities

Lead strategy, planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement of benefits programs.
Manage benefits vendors, including RFPs, contract negotiations, governance, performance reviews, and escalations.
Lead plan redesigns, implementations, harmonization initiatives, and Open Enrollment readiness.
Perform advanced data analysis, modeling, benchmarking, and trend analysis.
Monitor compliance with federal and state benefits regulations.
Interpret regulatory changes and support audits, risk mitigation, and compliance initiatives.
Identify benefits-related risks and develop long-term remediation strategies.
Partner with Finance, Legal, HR Technology, and other cross-functional teams.
Analyze program impacts and recommend benefits enhancements.
Develop reports and identify opportunities for process and program improvement.
Provide technical guidance and coaching to other Benefits Analysts.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor''s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4+ years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor''s degree.
Strong knowledge of health, welfare, and retirement benefits.
Strong understanding of COBRA, ACA, ERISA, IRS requirements, and HIPAA.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
Experience with HRIS/HR management systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, project-management, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
Ability to independently manage complex benefits programs and multiple priorities.

Ideal Candidate

The strongest candidates will have experience owning complex benefits programs, managing vendors, analyzing benefits data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading major initiatives such as plan redesigns, implementations, RFPs, and Open Enrollment.
