Senior Paraplanner - Edinburgh

Leadership, Development & Progression Opportunities

We're looking for an experienced Senior Paraplanner to join a growing, client-focused financial planning firm in Edinburgh.

This role is ideal for a technically strong Paraplanner who enjoys research, report writing, and supporting advisers to deliver high-quality financial planning solutions. Alongside managing complex cases, you'll play a key role in mentoring and developing junior Paraplanners, sharing technical knowledge, and helping drive best practice across the team.

What You'll Bring

  • Significant Paraplanning experience within financial services
  • Proven experience producing compliant suitability reports
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, protection, and tax planning
  • Sound understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting junior colleagues
  • Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4) essential; Chartered status or progress towards Chartered desirable
