Dependent on Experience An established M&amp;E contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a major ductwork and ventilation package on a high-profile secure environment project in the East Midlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical background in ductwork, ventilation or air distribution systems who can confidently manage programmes, site teams, quality, manufacturing coordination and project delivery from start through to handover.

Key Responsibilities<br />Manage the delivery of ductwork and ventilation works in line with programme, quality standards and client expectations.<br />Coordinate labour-only subcontractors, ensuring productivity, sequencing, quality and site performance.<br />Produce and manage technical documentation including RFIs, technical submittals, RAMS, ITPs and progress reports.<br />Work closely with the design team, internal departments and manufacturing workshop to ensure materials are planned, fabricated and delivered in line with programme requirements.<br />Review fabrication drawings and technical information to ensure quality, buildability and installation requirements are met.<br />Monitor programme progress, identify risks and constraints, and implement solutions to maintain delivery.<br />Oversee quality control, commissioning support, snagging, close-out documentation and project handover.Requirements<br />Previous experience as a Project Manager, Package Manager or Site Manager delivering ductwork, ventilation or air distribution projects.<br />Strong technical understanding of construction drawings, specifications and project documentation.<br />Experience managing labour-only subcontractors and coordinating manufacturing and fabrication processes.<br />Knowledge of technical submittals, RFIs, RAMS, ITPs, progress reporting and quality documentation.<br />Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.<br />Ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining programme and quality objectives.<br />Previous experience working within secure environments, custodial facilities or Ministry of Justice projects would be highly advantageous, although not essential.What's on Offer<br />Permanent or contract opportunities available.<br />Salary or day rate dependent on experience.<br />Opportunity to work on a significant, technically challenging project.<br />Long-term prospects with an established specialist contractor.<br />Supportive team environment with ongoing project pipeline.If you're an experienced Project Manager with a background in ductwork or ventilation and are looking for your next challenge, we'd like to hear from you.
