Investment Banking Experienced Analyst- Industrials

A leading upper middle market investment bank is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to join its Industrials team in New York. This is an opportunity for a second or third-year Investment Banking Analysts looking to gain significant M&A exposure within a highly respected advisory platform. The firm combines the resources, stability, and global reach of a large financial institution with the advisory-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and merger models
• Prepare pitch books, board presentations, and marketing materials
• Conduct industry, market, company, and buyer universe research
• Support execution of live M&A transactions from launch through closing
• Assist with due diligence processes and transaction coordination
• Analyze company financial statements, operating metrics, and strategic positioning
• Draft CIMs, management presentations, and transaction-related materials
• Work closely with senior bankers on client-facing initiatives and deal execution

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of investment banking experience
• Current Investment Banking Analyst 2, or 3
• Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities
• M&A transaction experience preferred
• Demonstrated interest in the Industrials sector
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong academic credentials and attention to detail
