Job Description
System Integration Engineer
*candidates require an SC clearance or must be willing to undergo clearance*
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6-12 months
Location: onsite in Surrey
We're looking for an AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test) Engineer to support the integration, testing and verification of complex aerospace systems. You'll work across the full engineering lifecycle, from integration and functional testing through to environmental and end-to-end system testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Support assembly, integration and functional testing of aerospace equipment and systems.
- Develop and execute test procedures, analysing results to identify issues and improvements.
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults during integration and test activities.
- Produce and maintain accurate technical documentation and test records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Adhere to cleanroom and ESD procedures, maintaining full product traceability.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Engineering or a STEM-related discipline.
- Understanding of assembly, integration and test (AIT) principles.
- Experience with hardware and software testing.
- Knowledge of cleanroom and ESD processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with spacecraft systems or high-reliability engineering environments is advantageous.
- Exposure to scripting or programming (Python, Shell, Java or C/C++) is beneficial.
