The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment like hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks, ensuring efficient flow of freight.
• Drive hostlers to accurately position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Stack, move, and organize containers according to operational needs.
• Perform essential pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to maintain safety standards.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks and container movements.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for consideration.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing ladders/stairs.
• Open availability for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic communication skills and a collaborative team-player attitude.
