Responsibilities

Participate in building new modules and supporting the application using Java and Python skills
Propose software implementations using AWS skills to embrace modernization and support firm's Public Cloud Enablement and Adoption
Design and develop data pipelines to move data from on prem to public cloud.
Active participation from requirements phase, to design and build, ensuring quality deliverables on schedule.
Work closely with product team and stakeholders to understand business goals and requirements.
Communicate technical concepts, problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Coordinate with all teams including Product, Testing, DevOps and Data Science team to support all phases of a project, from requirements design, build to full release.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
Passionate about building an innovative culture
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement

Must Have Skills

Java or Python
Working with GIT/Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins tools to build and deploy code deployment to production environments.
Experience working with no-SQL databases like MongoDB and Cassandra
CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment strategies like Jules/Jenkins
Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycl e
AWS certification or working experience with software development on AWS
