Transport Administrator

to join a busy and fast-paced transport operation in

Stanford-le-Hope . This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive team where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of daily transport operations.

If you have previous administration experience, enjoy working in a fast-moving environment, and have excellent communication skills, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role As a Transport Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the transport team with a range of administrative and operational tasks, ensuring drivers, warehouse teams and internal departments work together efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct driver pre-briefs before the start of each shift Complete driver de-briefs and collect all relevant documentation Scan, file and maintain accurate transport paperwork Liaise with warehouse teams to ensure vehicles are loaded on schedule Provide administrative support to the Transport Office Support the Shift First Line Manager (FLM) with day-to-day operations Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally Communicate with internal departments, including off-site Customer Service teams Ensure transport documentation is completed accurately and in line with company procedures Help maintain an efficient and compliant transport operation

What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is: Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Confident communicating with drivers, warehouse teams and colleagues Able to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure Proactive, reliable and able to use their own initiative Comfortable using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems Previous administration, transport or logistics experience is desirable, but not essential
