Position Summary

4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Design, develop, migrate, and maintain API platform solutions and API gateway components using enterprise integration best practices.
2. Build and support API proxies, service integrations, deployment automation, and cloud-native application environments.
3. Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot containerized applications and Kubernetes environments while supporting CI/CD processes.
4. Collaborate with development teams to implement secure, scalable, and high-performing API solutions and resolve production issues.

 

Minimum Qualifications

The position requires:

Education	Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience	6+ years of experience in API development, cloud platforms, containerization, and enterprise application integration.
Technical Skills	Apigee, API Development, Kubernetes, REST APIs, SOAP, Scripting, CI/CD, Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure)
Business / Domain Skills	API Management, Application Integration, Cloud Migration, DevOps, System Integration, Production Support
Communication	Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation	Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization	Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with API gateway migration, cloud-native architectures, and infrastructure automation.
2. Knowledge of container orchestration, version control, deployment pipelines, and API security.
3. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
