C++ Software Engineer

A C++ Software Engineer with proven object-orientated design experience will develop software for the latest radar, security and surveillance systems. You ll bring an Electronics or Software Engineering Degree, proven C++ development skills (on Windows), an understanding of real-time software design and familiarity with Python Scripting. Of particular interest is experience in the development of security / defence command and control software and using GIS (Geographic Information System) data.

The successful C++ Software Design Engineer will design and develop software across the company s radar systems, including external radar control systems and interfaces as well as bringing the ability to improve the software capabilities and enhance the user experience.

The C++ Software Engineer will ideally bring:

• Degree in Electronic Engineering (with software bias), Computer Science, Physics or similar.
• Modern C++ development skills (C++ 11/14/17/20).
• OOP / OOD experience.
• Experience with software development on Windows.
• Knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages.
• Some commercial software design experience.
• Understanding of real-time software design & development.
• Experience of UI design.
