Part Time Are you an enthusiastic Dance Teacher who can inspire students through movement, creativity and performance? A welcoming secondary school in Rye is looking to appoint a talented and motivated Dance Teacher to join its Performing Arts department from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to nurture students' confidence, creativity and passion for dance in a supportive and well-resourced school. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
Teach Dance across Key Stages 3 and 4. Deliver engaging practical lessons that encourage creativity, teamwork and self-expression. Plan and assess lessons that support students of all abilities to achieve their potential. Contribute to school performances, showcases and extracurricular activities where appropriate. Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a vibrant Performing Arts curriculum. About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching Dance in a secondary school setting. A passion for inspiring young people through the performing arts. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
