Job Title: Cloud Network Engineer – Epic
Location: West Norriton, PA

Job Description:
This role is for an experienced Cloud Network Engineer who will support and manage cloud network infrastructure for a large Epic healthcare application environment.
The primary cloud platform is Microsoft Azure, but experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform is also preferred. The candidate should have strong enterprise networking experience, including routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, cloud connectivity, and network security.
The engineer will troubleshoot cloud and data-center connectivity issues, manage cloud network devices, automate infrastructure using Terraform, and participate in an on-call support rotation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support cloud network infrastructure, primarily in Azure.
  • Maintain network security, availability, uptime, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues between cloud environments, data centers, offices, and end users.
  • Manage:
    • Azure Virtual Networks (VNets)
    • Firewalls
    • Load balancers
    • Route tables
    • Network Security Groups (NSGs)
    • Transit gateways
    • DNS and SSL certificates
    • IP address management (IPAM)
  • Support cloud connectivity technologies such as:
    • Azure ExpressRoute
    • AWS Direct Connect
    • SD-WAN
  • Automate cloud network infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Use ServiceNow for incidents, requests, and change management.
  • Maintain cloud documentation and update the CMDB.
  • Work with Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Development, and consulting teams.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and support production incidents.
  • Support cloud networking for the Epic healthcare application.
Must-Have Skills
  • 10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure networking.
  • Enterprise networking: Routing, Switching, and Firewalls.
  • Cloud networking experience with Azure; AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform are preferred.
  • Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience with Azure Virtual Networks, NSGs, Route Tables, and ExpressRoute.
  • Experience with Load Balancers and Network Security.
  • Strong troubleshooting and cloud connectivity experience.
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Ability to support an on-call rotation.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting Epic application hosting or Epic infrastructure.
  • Healthcare or highly regulated industry experience.
  • AWS and Google Cloud Platform networking.
  • Fortinet firewalls, F5, or Citrix ADC.
  • GitHub experience.
  • CCNP, CCNP Security, PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, Azure, or AWS networking certifications.
