Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer with 6-8 years of software development experience and strong expertise in Java/Kotlin, native mobile application development, and modern mobile technologies.

The ideal candidate will have experience working across mobile application development and backend services, with strong knowledge of SwiftUI for iOS, Jetpack Compose for Android, Spring with Kotlin, Gradle, Jackson, and Moshi. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), observability, application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of professional software development experience with Java and/or Kotlin.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Spring/Spring Boot backend development.
• Experience in native mobile application development.
• Strong experience with SwiftUI for iOS application development.
• Strong experience with Jetpack Compose for Android application development.
• Experience working with Jackson for data serialization/deserialization.
• Experience with Moshi for JSON parsing and serialization.
• Strong knowledge of Gradle as a build automation and dependency management tool.
• Understanding of Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), including performance, scalability, reliability, security, and availability.
• Experience implementing Observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, metrics, and alerting.
• Strong experience in mobile application performance optimization and tuning.
• Ability to analyze performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve application responsiveness and stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native mobile applications.
• Develop scalable backend services using Kotlin and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain mobile applications using SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose.
• Implement efficient data serialization and parsing using Jackson and Moshi.
• Manage application builds, dependencies, and automation using Gradle.
• Ensure applications meet defined functional and non-functional requirements.
• Implement observability practices across mobile and backend applications.
• Monitor application health, performance, and reliability.
• Identify and resolve application performance issues and bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, developers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure applications are scalable, reliable, secure, and production-ready.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automated application deployment.
• Experience with cloud-native application development is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
