Senior Hedge Fund Accountant

Provide accounting services for private equity funds, including calculating net asset values and fund performance, allocating expenses, preparing client reports, and overseeing reconciliations. Review complex fund accounting work, improve processes, guide junior team members, address client questions, and assess the accounting impact of new GAAP or IFRS rules. This role is based in Lake Mary, Florida, with an expectation of four days in the office.

Responsibilities

• Calculate net asset values and fund performance for assigned funds.
• Allocate fund expenses and prepare client reports.
• Guide and review cash and asset reconciliations, resolving complex issues.
• Review fund accounting work and contribute to service improvement and efficiency initiatives.
• Interact with clients to answer questions and resolve reporting or accounting issues.
• Evaluate GAAP and IFRS rules for their impact on fund accounting practices.
