Automated Test Engineer Mid/Senior

Job Description

Basic Qualifications

• For the Senior Principal Software Engineer (T04), a minimum of 8 years with a Bachelor's degree, 6 years with a Master's degree, or 4 years with a Ph.D.
• Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including software design, requirements, application development, integration, testing, and deployment
• Professional experience developing with Eggplant, Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Experience developing technical solutions in collaboration with multiple product teams
• Experience in software development related to test automation
• Familiarity with Agile software development using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Fisheye/Crucible, and Bitbucket
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher required
• Ability to work onsite in a secure environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Experience with Jenkins and Elasticsearch
• Experience leading technical teams
• Experience in Agile/Scrum leadership roles such as Scrum Master or Product Owner
• Current Security+ certification

Position Overview
The selected engineer will support a large-scale defense software and systems integration program as a member of an Automated Test and Verification team. The role is responsible for developing software products that support automated testing, verification, and system validation activities.

Essential Functions

• Develop software products supporting automated verification and testing efforts at the system level
• Build software solutions in an Agile development environment
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative engineering organization
• Develop and execute testing activities in hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) environments
• Automate existing manual test procedures
