Job Description

This role focuses on automating infrastructure provisioning, Linux patching, application build/deployment and CI/CD activities for NC FAST applications. The engineer will create and maintain Ansible playbooks, troubleshoot automation issues, manage infrastructure as code, and work with architects, developers, deployment teams and DBAs to improve release reliability.
Key Requirements:
  • 7+ years Linux OS/software patch and upgrade automation using Ansible
  • 7+ years build/deployment automation, including database changes
  • 7+ years Python/Bash/Shell automation scripting
  • 4+ years Terraform + Ansible for infrastructure provisioning/configuration
  • 3+ years Git/BitBucket – branching, merging and administration
  • 2+ years Docker & Kubernetes
  • 2+ years CI/CD using Jenkins, TeamCity and/or Ansible
  • 2+ years AWS infrastructure experience is highly desired
  • Strong Linux, Ansible, YAML, CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code knowledge
  • Experience troubleshooting deployments and validating configurations
  • ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES IN NC
