Hiring: Senior AWS Application Developer – Python - CA residents only

As a Senior AWS Application Developer specializing in Python, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining AWS applications for our team. You will work closely with other developers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of various AWS services and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy AWS applications using Python and other relevant programming languages
• Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, DynamoDB, Glue, ECS/Fargate, and VPC to build scalable and secure applications
• Implement serverless and event-driven architecture to optimize application performance
• Write infrastructure as code using tools like CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform
• Manage Docker and container-based deployments for efficient application deployment
• Work with SQL databases like SQL Server, DB2, or PostgreSQL for data storage and retrieval
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance

Requirements:

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience in AWS application development
• Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages
• Expertise in AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, DynamoDB, Glue, ECS/Fargate, and VPC
• Knowledge of serverless and event-driven architecture
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform
• Familiarity with Docker and container-based deployments
• Strong SQL skills with databases such as SQL Server, DB2, or PostgreSQL
• Ability to set up CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments
• Proficiency in Git, Maven, and Shell Scripting

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js
• Knowledge of cloud-based deployment pipelines
• Experience in supporting scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS applications
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills
