Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and energetic Product Manager to join our Fed Gov client. We need a progressive, forward-thinker to drive an enterprise-wide program to modernise core platforms that enhance customer experience.
The Product Manager will steer the overarching product vision and roadmap while coaching multi-disciplinary Agile scrum teams to deliver high-value, citizen-centric digital services.
Role & Responsibilities- Define & Own Vision: Establish and articulate a clear product vision and roadmap for core platforms, ensuring all technical enhancements align with the department's broader digital strategy.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Consult extensively across delivery, service, and technology teams to integrate systems, maximise return on investment, and resolve complex priority conflicts.
- Agile Leadership & Coaching: Guide and mentor Product Owners and their respective scrum teams through the entire delivery lifecycle, promoting continuous improvement and value-based delivery.
- Strategic Roadmap Management: Continuously refine the product roadmap using customer insights, human-centered design principles, and business outcomes to maintain a customer-centric focus.
- Governance & Delivery: Navigate competing demands and conflicting information to deliver robust regulatory, compliance, and refactoring initiatives within defined standards and constraints.
- Deep expertise in Agile frameworks, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies, and a strong understanding of the Digital Service Standard.
- 3+ years of experience in a Product Management capacity, complemented by a solid foundational background as a Product Owner in enterprise environments.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to coach teams, manage senior executive stakeholders, and simplify complex technical constraints into clear, actionable outcomes.
- Relevant certifications in Product Ownership, Product Management, or Agile/SAFe practices are highly regarded.
Clearance Requirements: Due to the nature of this environment, candidates must hold a current Baseline security clearance.
