IAM Solution Architect

IAM Solution Architect + Site based role in South West + £680 to £720 per day - Inside IR35 + Requires DV Clearance We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of a greenfield Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform within a highly secure environment.

This is a key role where you'll shape a modern Microsoft-based identity solution, working closely with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture and implementation of a new on-premise IAM platform.<br />Design secure identity solutions using Windows Server 2022, Active Directory, and ADFS.<br />Deliver Single Sign-On (SSO), federation, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) solutions.<br />Define architecture standards, technical governance, and best practices.<br />Produce HLDs, LLDs, and technical documentation.<br />Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement throughout project delivery.

Essential Skills Proven experience as a Solution or Technical Architect delivering Microsoft identity solutions.<br />Strong knowledge of Active Directory, ADFS, Windows Server 2022, and enterprise IAM.<br />Experience with SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSO, and RBAC.<br />Good understanding of networking, DNS, firewalls, routing, and load balancing.<br />Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.<br />Experience working within Defence or other highly secure environments.

Desirable Microsoft Identity or Solutions Architect certifications.<br />Hybrid identity and PowerShell automation experience. Security Requirements Applicants must hold active UKSV DV clearance and be sole British nationals with a valid UK passport.
