Job Responsibilities
- Establish a vision for M&S planning, acquisition, development, test, and Verification and Validation (V&V) and provide recommendations to senior leadership on M&S strategy.
- Maintain awareness of government test and analysis schedules and ensure M&S development and availability to meet customer needs.
- Oversee development of M&S requirements.
- Support the government's preparation of the scope of work and the M&S acquisition effort.
- Collaborate with prime development contractors to execute M&S development, upgrades, and modifications.
- Coordinate with the M&S user community to distribute, set up, and employ the developed M&S products.
- Oversee and provide direction to independent M&S validation and analysis teams.
- Report to senior leadership on status, schedule, risks, milestones, and accomplishments.
- Provide direction and guidance to a team of M&S professionals supporting execution of these key functions.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in a STEM field.
- 12+ years of relevant experience working on M&S development and/or V&V of missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project.
- Active SECRET or higher level clearance.
- Ability to work independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks, applying engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) level understanding of missile defense systems operation with extensive knowledge of radar systems.
- Ability to effectively prioritize resources to achieve multiple competing goals.
- Excellent communications skills and ability to present technical information to senior technical leadership.
- Ability to coordinate multiple simultaneous ongoing projects (multi-tasking).
- Extensive use of the Microsoft suite of tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time. Trip durations may range from overnight to multiple days.
- Willingness to work full-time onsite on the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.

- Experience leading a team of engineering professionals highly desired.
- Experience with modeling and simulation of state of the art, solid state radars
