About the Team

Join a collaborative, cross-functional product team within ResMed's Digital Health Technology group. We work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and global engineering teams to build and enhance digital health solutions that impact millions of lives. Our team owns the full software development lifecycle-from architecture and development through deployment and production support. We are passionate about modern engineering practices, cloud technologies, automation, AI-enabled development, and continuous improvement.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a versatile Software Engineer who enjoys working across both frontend and backend development while contributing to infrastructure, DevOps, and platform improvements. You'll work independently and collaboratively with globally distributed teams, taking ownership of features and helping shape the future of our products and engineering practices.

What You'll Do
  • Design, build, and deliver new product features across frontend and backend systems
  • Develop and support scalable microservices and React-based micro-frontends
  • Contribute to Kubernetes infrastructure, cloud services, and DevOps practices
  • Enhance automated testing frameworks across unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing
  • Drive security, performance, and reliability improvements
  • Participate in occasional production support activities
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve productivity
What You'll Bring

Required

  • Experience developing production applications using Java and React
  • Strong full-stack development experience across frontend and backend technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience writing automated tests (unit, integration, contract, and E2E)
  • Familiarity with Jira, Datadog, and modern software delivery practices
  • Experience using AI-powered development tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
Preferred
  • Java, TypeScript, Spring Boot, React
  • Docker, Kubernetes (EKS)
  • GitHub and GitHub Actions
  • Jest, Playwright, JUnit
  • Relational and NoSQL databases
  • Microservices and micro-frontend architectures
  • Interest or experience in healthcare, digital health, or medical technology
Benefits
  • Work on products that improve people's health and quality of life
  • Own features end-to-end and influence technical direction
  • Learn and grow through training, workshops, and online learning platforms
  • Flexible working environment that supports work-life balance
  • Modern Bella Vista campus with subsidized meals and coffee, on-site gym and pool, and free parking

Ideal Profile: A hands-on full stack engineer who thrives in a small, high-performing team, enjoys working across React, Java, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps, and is excited by the opportunity to build modern digital health solutions.
