Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead and expand our hardware business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with Hardware resellers, and driving sales of our extensive hardware portfolio. This role requires strong knowledge of computer hardware and the ability to provide solutions tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the computer hardware segment
- Build and maintain relationships with Hardware resellers, system integrators, and B2B clients
- Promote and sell a wide range of hardware products including notebooks, desktops, CPUs, and components
- Understand client requirements and provide hardware solutions that match their technical and business needs.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations and quotations.
- Negotiate pricing and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with the internal procurement and support teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years in IT hardware sales or BDM role, preferably in a reseller or distributor environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Strong problem-solving and customer service orientation
- Prior experience working with IT resellers or B2B clients is preferred
- Basic understanding of supply chain and product lifecycle in the hardware market
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field is preferred.
