U.S. Navy Marine Diesel Engineer | Paulsboro, NJ, United States | Hybrid

The Role

  • Support diesel engine propulsion systems and ship service diesel generators on Navy vessels.
  • Conduct ship visits for inspections and data collection.
  • Verify diesel engine calibration and governor control.
  • Troubleshoot diesel propulsion and generation systems.
  • Provide support for new system upgrades and installation on Navy ships.
  • Analyze, trend, and report on diesel engine data.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in diesel engine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Ability to perform regular physical activity in industrial environments.
