The Role
- Support diesel engine propulsion systems and ship service diesel generators on Navy vessels.
- Conduct ship visits for inspections and data collection.
- Verify diesel engine calibration and governor control.
- Troubleshoot diesel propulsion and generation systems.
- Provide support for new system upgrades and installation on Navy ships.
- Analyze, trend, and report on diesel engine data.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
- Up to 5 years of experience in diesel engine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Ability to perform regular physical activity in industrial environments.
